Based in Quebec’s Abitibi-Temiscamingue region, located approximately 60 km north of Val-d’Or – a major mining centre with a skilled local workforce. This revitalised brownfield site comprises an open-pit mine and spodumene concentrator, leveraging Québec’s sustainable hydroelectric power and year-round road and rail access.
NAL is currently North America’s largest lithium producer with potential for further expansion.

North American Lithium is a key strategic asset for the rapidly growing electric vehicle supply chain in North America. The United States is heavily reliant on imported lithium – primarily from China – and requires a substantial increase in domestic supply to meet its electrification goals.
By ramping up local lithium output, Elevra Lithium addresses regional supply chain vulnerabilities, strengthens mineral security, and supports the transition to clean energy through high-quality spodumene concentrate delivered from Québec to battery manufacturers.
