Jorge M. Beristain
Non-Executive Director
Jorge was appointed to the Board in July 2025. He previously served as a Non-Executive Director of Piedmont Lithium, where he also chaired the Audit Committee for six years prior to the merger.
He formerly served on the Board of Ryerson China Limited (2024–2025), and as Vice President of Finance for Ryerson Holding Corporation (NYSE: RYI). He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Central Steel & Wire Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Ryerson.
From 2000 to 2017, Jorge served as Managing Director and Head of Deutsche Bank AG’s Americas Metals & Mining equity research. During his more than 20-year career on Wall Street, Mr. Beristain lived and worked in the U.S., Latin America, and Canada. Jorge received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and is a CFA charterholder.
